Thanks to a volume of pre-registrations that matched the capacity for the original venue, the Federal Trade Commission has decided to relocate the upcoming Debt Collection Dialogue in Dallas to the Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University, Karcher Auditorium, Storey Hall, 3315 Daniel Avenue, in Dallas.
Pre-registration, which had been closed, has been re-opened.
The number of pre-registrations is potentially a sign that the industry is more optimistic about the value in attending this event. The FTC’s first Debt Collection Dialogue, held in Buffalo in mid-June, did not receive good reviews from those who attended. The FTC responded by adding more industry participation to the agenda, to provide a more well-rounded discussion.
