David brings to the firm more than 20 years’ experience as a collection attorney, including five years as the managing attorney of a nationally recognized collection law firm. David has tried hundreds of cases and successfully defended creditors and asset buyers against consumer claims under state and federal consumer protection laws. David is a frequent speaker and published author on topics such as bankruptcy and garnishment law. David is proud to serve as one of only three Board Certified creditors’ rights specialists in the State of Georgia. He is an active member of ACA International and has served as president of the Georgia Collectors Association.
David joins the firm as Director of Speech Analytics to operate and manage a new outsourced speech analytics legal service offered by the firm, BLG InsightTM. BLG InsightTM analyzes recorded phone calls for small and mid-sized collection agencies and provides legal advice about the content of those telephone calls. The service examines all calls, inbound and outbound, and advises on proper scripting, training, and client-focused call requirements. Clients may also obtain analysis specific to collection production so that call analytics can drive higher revenue.
