The Mid-Atlantic Collectors Association has decided to move its annual spring conference so that it is held in conjunction with the Washington Insights event held by ACA International.
ACA’s 2016 Washington Insights conference will be held April 20-21 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill.
The MACA’s annual spring conference used to be a few weeks later than the Washington Insights conference, said Harry Strausser, a member of MACA’s board of directors. But by combining events and running the MACA conference concurrently with the Washington Insights conference, the hope is that more people will be able to attend both by eliminating the need to choose one or the other, Strausser said.
Noted journalist and D.C. insider Bob Woodward is the scheduled keynote speaker at the ACA’s event. Details on MACA’s event were still being finalized.
