COLORADO SHERIFF TURNS TO ONLINE COLLECTIONS
- A Colorado county sheriff’s office is turning to a third-party, web-based service to collect on $311,000 in unpaid fees from inmates. The service, called Pay My Jailer, charges consumers to use the service to repay debts such as booking fees, commissary charges, and medical expenses. Pay My Jailer is a service offered by Advent Financial Services.
