- A Pennsylvania town is looking to hire a collection agency to collect on unpaid bills related to garbage collections. The mayor of the town said that he is looking at getting much more “aggressive” in collecting those unpaid debts.

- A Canadian collection agency is in the news for unfortunate reasons, after trying to collect on a 20-year old unpaid speeding ticket. The problem is that the woman who received the ticket passed away eight years ago. The agency said it had no way of knowing that the woman had passed away.
LACK OF CONSENT
- A Southern California hospital is being sued by a patient who claims that she did not give the hospital expressed consent for it to contact her on her cell phone.
