BANKERS GROUPS JOIN FIGHT TO GET FCC TO CHANGE TCPA RULES
- The American Bankers Association and the Consumer Bankers Association have joined the fight to persuade the Federal Communications Commission to reconsider the limitations on calling the mobile phones of individuals with debts that are owed to or guaranteed by the federal government. While the letter does not call on the FCC to broadly apply new rules for any communication between a financial services organization and an individual, it does add to the drumbeat of those who see the opportunity created by having a new chairman — a Republican — at the FCC.
REVENUE CYCLE FIRMS ALLOWING MORE EMPLOYEES TO WORK FROM HOME
- More revenue cycle management units are allowing employees to work from home, to free up much needed office space and to improve job retention among those who are being granted the privilege. Companies can expand their staffs without needed to add more office space, but must develop rules and standards that need to be followed.
