- The Missouri Supreme Court has upheld a lawsuit against a pair of individuals who were trying to sue a healthcare facility for charging post-judgment interest. In this case, because the judgment was non-tort related, the automatic accrual of interest was permissible.
FCC SEEKS COMMENTS ON CREDIT UNIONS’ TCPA PETITION
- The Federal Communications Commission has taken the next step and issued a notice seeking comment on a petition that would exempt credit unions from the prior-expressed consent rules of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Credit unions want to be able to send text messages and use autodialers to make phone calls to members without worrying about whether those communications violate the TCPA.
CAINE & WEINER MOVING CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS TO LARGER OFFICE
- Caine & Weiner is moving its corporate headquarters to San Fernando, Calif., as it seeks a bigger space for its 150 employees, according to a published report. The new office space has 17,000 square feet, up from its current office which has 14,400 square feet.
