FirstPoint Collection Resources, a collection agency based in Greensboro, N.C., has announced the acquisition of Credit Bureau Systems, a Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based collection agency and revenue cycle management company.
This is the third acquisition for FirstPoint Collection Resources, a unit of FirstPoint, according to a published report. FirstPoint offers products and services in information resources, management resources, collection resources, and background screening resources. It had previously announced the acquisition of Correct Checks, a background screening company.
Terms of the acquisition were not announced.
Credit Bureau Systems has been in business for more than 30 years, according to the company’s website.
FirstPoint is led by CEO Mark Prince, who joined the firm a decade ago. The company has been in business since 1906.
