Frost-Arnett has announced it is opening up a new office in Campbellsville, Kentucky and will hire an additional 135 employees to staff the facility.
The company has had an office in Campbellsville for nearly 20 years, according to an announcement trumpeting the move. Originally staffed with just 20 employees, the office has grown to house 185 associates. Purchasing and renovating the new office will cost nearly $3 million.
“It became clear to everyone at Frost-Arnett when we opened our office in Campbellsville almost 20 years ago that it was a special place. As we have grown our operations here, we have found that our team members embody the core values of America: dedication to work and family, commitment to excellence and a passion for doing things the right way,” said Jason Meyer, Frost-Arnett’s CEO, in a statement. “We are grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community and provide good jobs for the people of Taylor County. We hope that our new facility will allow us to continue to attract good people and grow our team here for years to come.”
Construction on the new facility is scheduled to start in February and be finished by June, according to the announcement. Between its facilities in Campbellsville, Nashville, and Houston, Frost-Arnett has more than 400 employees.
The state of Kentucky’s Economic Development Finance Authority has given preliminary approval to receive tax incentives of $1.5 million, which would allow it “to keep a portion of its investment over the agreement term through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets.”
