How did you get your start in the industry?
Summer job at a local collection agency.
What is your career highlight so far?
So many to consider in both the credit and collections and higher education industries. Probably the ability to take on leadership roles in both industries and share knowledge and information between the two worlds. Also, being one of the first creditors to become an ACA certified instructor.
When or how are you most productive?
Working on or close to deadlines. Much more motivated to reach a positive conclusion to project or activity.

What is one thing you do better than everyone else?
Writing and editing materials – comes from my journalism minor in college and newspaper work.
What do you like most about this industry?
Quality people providing a vital service for consumers and the economy.
What is one thing you wish you could change about this industry?
More understanding about how and why there are methods to help get bills paid and provide financial education to consumers at the same time.

Writing or lobbying.
