How did you get your start in the industry?
I accepted a paralegal position for Receive and after some time I was promoted to senior paralegal and then VP of Operations.
What is your career highlight so far?
I am very blessed to say that the highlight of my career was graduating with my bachelor’s degree in business. I am the first of my family to attend and graduate college.
When or how are you most productive?
I am most productive when I have set tasks to complete in a set timeframe. If given too long to do something I can be a little procrastinator.
Which industry professional do you admire most?
There is no one person that I admire in our industry. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from all our professionals.
What is one thing you do better than everyone else?
I believe my time management skills are stellar!
What do you like most about this industry?
I like being able to assist our consumers and our clients with their debt. It makes me happy to help someone take care of their account in a positive way.

I would be working as a paralegal for a law firm and attending law school.
Describe a typical work day
I arrive at work around 7:30 am and run my daily reporting and payment processing. Then I prepare for any meetings for the day. In between meetings I evaluate workflows and time management of my teams and assist in the legal department as needed.
