In an effort to broaden their scope of debt collection services, Financial Credit Network, Inc. (FCN) and Acclaim Credit Technologies (ACT) announce they have merged as of February 1, 2023.
Financial Credit Network has been servicing the debt collection needs of their clients since 1954 and is highly regarded within the collection community. Alicia Sundstrom will remain President and Owner of the newly merged companies, which will retain the name Financial Credit Network. Bruce Tschannen/CEO of ACT is retiring and will be retained for a period of time as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition.
Sundstrom stated this merger is “the absolute right move at the right time for Financial Credit Network. We have been an industry leader since 1954, and in order to continue to enhance our competitive edge and market share, we must be able to recognize and seize strategic growth opportunities; this is one of those opportunities. Our values are very closely aligned with those of Bruce and his team, this will be a win-win for all.”
In response, Tschannen says, “One of my primary concerns, when I first considered the merger of our two companies, was my employees. My staff has provided many years of loyal, dedicated service to me and ACT. I am thrilled to announce that almost all of our employees will be retained by FCN. For our valued clients, that means little disruption and few changes moving forward. I see our merger as a big win for our clients as well as our employees!” Regarding the opportunity to work with Alicia, Tschannen stated “Alicia is one of the most respected leaders in our communities and our industry. I look forward to the expertise her team will bring to ACT. Her leadership team is dynamic. I am both excited and honored for ACT to step into this new chapter with FCN.”
