I needed a job and was hired by a company to do first-party collections.
What is your career highlight so far?
Helping bring electronic communication (email, text and chat) as an alternative communication for both consumers and clients.
When or how are you most productive?
I am most productive in the morning when there are less “distractions.”

John Kelan
What is one thing you do better than everyone else?
Working with consumers has helped when initiating new strategies. I am able to understand it from both a business side and a consumer side to get the best outcomes.
What do you like most about this industry?
Coming up with new strategies and ideas.
What is one thing you wish you could change about this industry?
That those who pass laws understand that collections plays a major role in our economy.
If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?
Something with animals or nursing

Start at 7am, work on emails and projects, meet with those involved with my projects, make sure no issues with web, and then chat or text throughout the day.

All kinds of food
