KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA, USA, March 11, 2023 — New Life Church, Kissimmee, Florida, hosted the first session March 11th at 7 P.M. in a series focusing on Financial Literacy for the Central Florida area as well as online through Zoom. Presenting was Matt Kiefer, Chief Officer of Information, Compliance and Development at The Preferred Group of Tampa, a veteran in the account receivables recovery industry. Kiefer stated, “The series is geared towards those that want to make better financial decisions, the importance of credit and debt and how it influences and affects our lives.” Having been involved in debt collection, Kiefer has seen it all, many times with good people that just simply fall on hard times, and don’t want to avoid their personal responsibility but just don’t know how to get out of the valley of debt.
Filipino Pastor Kim Eco was excited about this opportunity to reach others that are struggling financially in the community and all over because personal finances cause a strain on so many families struggling after the Pandemic and facing rising inflation and uncertainty in the world.
The free series will continue next month and updates will be made available on the church’s LinkedIn group (New Life Church Kissimmee). It will be made available online to view at one’s leisure, with information about free resources, tools, and continue drilling down afterwards on topics of interest to those attending in person an online. New Life Church plans to make a difference in the lives of others by providing a community that anyone can be a part of – pointing them to Jesus Christ – teaching them the Scripture and spreading the Good News to God’s people.
Formerly known as Christ World Outreach, started in March 2012, New Life Church is moving its new branding forward as a multicultural church with service held on Saturdays at 6 P.M. They also meet every Wednesday to learn and Fellowship with the Kissimmee community family.
