SEVENTH CIRCUIT REVERSES RULING ON STANDING IN FDCPA CLASS ACTION

Many Fair Debt Collection Practices Act complaints allege that plaintiffs spent “time and money,” and it appears that the Court of Appeals has put a price tag on how much money needs to be spent in order for a plaintiff to have standing to sue, reversing a lower court’s dismissal of a suit.
