Earlier this month, OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, announced a number of new updates and upgrades to its flagship product. One of those upgrades is allowing individuals to create their own custom versions of ChatGPT, called GPTs. These GPTs can be tailored for just about any task or topic with you setting the parameters and guardrails for what the GPT can and can’t do.
The Negotiator: One of the more interested new GPTs that have been released in the weeks following OpenAI’s announcement is a new GPT from ChatGPT itself called The Negotiator.
- The Negotiator offers users the opportunity to practice negotiating for any type of scenario, such as buying a car, or negotiating with a debt collector or consumer to repay a debt. It also can be used to provide insight, like how to control your emotions during a negotiating session.
State Law GPT: Created by Tim Collins, the StateLawGPT provides up-to-date information about state debt collection laws.
What Comes Next: OpenAI said it will open a GPT Store this month, which will allow verified builders to make their GPTs available for purchase. Based on how many people are using your GPT, you will be able to earn money, OpenAI said.
- Enterprise users of ChatGPT can create and deploy their own internal GPTs. These GPTs are not used with other GPTs to improve the technology’s models, OpenAI said.
