Name: Sharn Fuller
Job Title: Contact Center Manager
Company: Crown Asset Management, LLC.
Length of time at current company: Six years
Length of time in industry: 20+ years
How did you get your start in the industry?
After undergrad, I started my career in the industry collecting on corporate accounts for one of the big four RR’s.
What is your career highlight so far?
My career highlight thus far is being assigned the opportunity to lead the building out of the Crown Asset Management Internal Contact Center.
When or how are you most productive?
I would say that my production level is consistent throughout the day and week. It is the task at hand that changes.
Which industry professional do you admire most?
There are many impressive individuals on all levels of our industry, yet I cannot help but admire an individual who captains a successful organization, shows respect to all, and is willing to get his hands dirty with his team in building homes for Habitat for Humanity…Brian Williams, CAM CEO.
May I also say that I admire all those individuals who day-in and day-out log into their systems and genuinely give their best effort to assist the consumer while also keeping the values of the organization in mind.
What is one thing you do better than everyone else?
I must humbly say, nothing. As with sports, there is always someone bigger, stronger, faster. For me, it is important to have a skillset, along with focus, dedication, and drive, which adds value regardless of the position or task.
What do you like most about this industry?
I like the fact that because this is such a fluid industry, there is always the ability to learn and grow. I also like those moments when you are not only able to assist an individual, but also create a process that will positively impact many.
What is one thing you wish you could change about this industry?
As has been often stated…Perception.
If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?
Designing cars or a personal trainer.
Describe a typical work day.
In early, attend to the needs of the team for their daily success, and continue with the various task required to build out the Contact Center.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Only guilty of waiting too long to start…working on my golf game.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
The definition of DISCIPLINE…forgoing what you want NOW, for what you want MOST.
What are you currently reading?
When it comes to leisure reading, I am in between books, but otherwise anything from Stephen King or John Grisham.
What is one fact you’d like everyone in the industry to know about you?
I really enjoy the opportunity to meet new industry partners and reconnect with others at industry conferences.
Who else would you like to see answer these questions?
Jessica Kagansky
