Workers at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau have made 593 donations to Democratic Party causes and candidates and only one donation to a Republican, according to a published report.
Among the donations are:
- $46,611 to Hillary Rodham Clinton
- $13,190 to Sen. Elizabeth Warren
- $19,988 to President Obama
- $10,075 to Democratic campaign committees
- $1,129 to Sen. Bernie Sanders
The lone donation to a Republican was a $1,000 pledge to former presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Democrats, meanwhile, have received nearly $115,000 from CFPB staffers.
