An ARM industry leader in technologies, geared to making companies more profitable and successful, Applied Innovation, enthusiastically announces the promotion of Harry A. Strausser III to President. In his new role, Strausser will guide the corporation into 2021, the company’s 20th anniversary, and beyond. New projects on the horizon include a corporate rebranding and entrance into other market verticals. “After almost a year with our company, promoting Harry Strausser, III to President was a natural step” says Albert Rookard. “His extensive industry experience, notoriety and organization will lead Applied Innovation to the next level”. Mr. Rookard will continue his involvement as Chief Executive Officer.
Harry Strausser has been a very public and engaged member of the accounts receivable management industry for almost 40 years as a second-generation collection professional. He has been a recognized educator, event speaker and leader. Anyone active in the industry has undoubtedly met Harry in their travels.
He has owned and managed two successful collection firms and served on the Executive Committee of ACA International where he was President in 2004-2005. He continues to be active on the board of the Mid-Atlantic Collectors Association, a position he has held for over two decades, and served as President twice. As ACA’s senior Certified Instructor, he has taught an unprecedented 300+ seminars for the association and has conducted more than 1000 presentations, nationally and internationally, during his active speaking career. He served for 16 years as an adjunct full-time professor in communications for Bloomsburg University where he taught public speaking, interpersonal communication, and corporate communication.
Harry is excited about this new chapter in his career. He comments, “As an active agency operator, and user of the organization’s platforms for many years, I developed much respect for Applied Innovation. I am excited with the opportunity to introduce more industry organizations to these valuable resources in this new position”.
